So, where to start?
Some of the first things I started collecting were salt and pepper shakers. I figured they wouldn't take up much space so I could easily find room for them in my kitchen. I knew right off that run of the mill (pardon the pun) salt and pepper shakers wouldn't do. After buying a few that I thought were cute I soon developed a more sophisticated eye for what was good.
There is no rhyme or reason to my collection and even though I have over 100 pairs they are all completely different and unique from one another. I even have a few orphans I picked up because they looked so sad without a mate and I wanted to give them a good home.
Some of my favorites:
Cute animals
Pink and Blue Poodles |
I'm Salt, I'm Pepper |
Poor little orphan bunny! |
Gentleman and Lady Birds |
Alligators with Forks |
I love your new blog. You have some very nice S&Ps! They are a lot of fun to collect. Would you call them "Functional Art?"
